Imagine you are walking down a dusty path in the African
sunshine, smiling as children run out of their homes and say hello to
you. Arriving at the gate of Hands of Compassion, Delicious, our
security guard welcomes you inside. The children are so excited and
want to shake your hand. “come and play football or frisbee with us?”
Another child wants to play draughts with you. You are given a cup of
tea and immediately feel at home.
As part of a team painting the school classrooms and helping with
other tasks, you see their smiles and know that what you’re doing is
making a real difference…..
A number of Volunteers
will be going out to Hands of Compassion in September 2010 for two
weeks to help paint some classrooms. It will be a life changing
experience they
will
never forget!
