February 2010 … There was great excitement as we heard the results of the Grade Seven Government examinations – to hear that thirty four of our pupils had passed. We had anticipated about twenty five but were so pleased with the results.……..

Left alone with very little to eat … Your mother and father died three years ago and now your aunt who had been looking after you since that time, does not want you any more. She sends you back to Ndola (two days journey from Chipata where you had been staying), you are now left alone with your brother and sister. Imagine how you would be feeling – heart broken and devastated….... |

2009 … Julia is 10 years old, her parents died some years ago so her grandmother has been looking after her. But then things started to go wrong, Christine, her grandmother, became sick and had to go into hospital for a few days…….. |
