GREAT EXCITEMENT, CHILDREN IN THEIR NEW CLASSROOM at St Andrews Anglican Church, Chipulukusu!

There was great excitement from the children when they moved from their temporary room in the Church to their new classroom! People from the Church’s congregation and local community had worked extremely hard to complete the 1st classroom, and then very quickly they completed super structure for the 2nd classroom despite the rain! Now the classroom is finished and we await delivery of more desks and benches etc. Representatives from the local Ministry of Education came and were very pleased to see the quality of the new classrooms.

We now continue to raise funds to build an ablution block, – providing facilities for toilets and washing for the children. The slab foundation has already been prepared.

Prize Giving

Our Prize giving Ceremony was held at the beginning of the term. The 1st pupil in last terms test results from each class was rewarded with a prize. The children were so excited and there was  dancing, drama and singing, finishing with anorange drink, bread buns and a few sweets. Donation of 4 tambourines from UK were much appreciated!
